Cannot reconnect previously working floodlight to network

I cannot get my Google Nest Floodlight and Camera to connect to my ASUS RT-AX86U Pro router and I am at a loss. The camera was working fine for about a year but recently went offline. I removed it from my Google Home app. Now I'm stuck at a screen that says "There was a problem scanning for Wi-Fi networks on your device. The device is no longer connected try connecting again". This screen pops up immediately after I have connected to the device in the Home app. I've had it setup on this network before so I know it is possible, but for some reason I can't get it to work again. I've tried:
- Disabling the firewall
- enabling legacy wifi modes
- Connecting to both the 2.4 and 5gz modes
- tried setting it up from an iOS device and an Android device
- moving the router within 5 feet of the camera
- Factory resetting the camera multiple times (yes until the yellow chimes and blue flashing lights)
- Restarting my router
- reinstalling the Google Home app.
- Using a different router
- Scanning the QR code vs entering the code manually

Starting to wonder if my device is broken. Anyone have some potential solutions? I've gone down a deep rabbit hole of advanced settings trying to make sure the correct ports are open, etc.

It seems you've done everything you can.  It should still work.  We've had a battery camera (the same camera but without the floodlight) for almost 3 years and it's still always online.

You could try contacting Support to see if your camera is defective and needs replacing:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
