Cant make video clip within the Nest App

Hi.

If I load Nest in a webpage I can access the “create a clip” functionality.

However, within the App the screen lacks the icons to allow me to select the clip, download it etc.

Does anyone else experience this.

Yes, I’ve just downloaded the latest App version, no change.

Not that it should matter, but the iPad is on the same Wi-Fi as the camera

Hi Aljotock, I'm and end user like you.

Just to be clear are you using the NEST app?  Or the Google Home app?

I'm on an iPhone with the NEST app and I see as list of recorded clips.   I select a clip and then  in the lower right corner of the screen I select the NEW CLIP icon.  When I click it, It goes to a screen where I can view the clip and also SAVE TO CAMERA ROLL or SHARE A LINK.   Are those not the options you are looking for?

Yes, If I use the Nest App on my iPad there are no “clip” saving tools. There is on the App for the iphone, but not on the iPad. If however, I log in via a webpage, there they are….. “clip” editing tools.

Honestly, I’m not just having a ‘Man Look’, the App on my iPad does not allow clips to be made. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue?

I don't have an iPad so I can check it.  But one thing comes to mind.  When you go to the App store I think you can select apps for just iPhone or just iPad or both.  Maybe you have the wrong on on the iPad?  

The only other thing I can suggest is to open a support ticket with the google folks and see if they can help.  Here is the link:
