Change Nest Cam Notifications?

Hi does anyone know if the Google nest has the ability to change notifications on your iPhone in the event of activity at your home? 

 
Specifically if at 3am there is an unknown face at my door or walking down my driveway I want my phone to blast an alarm at me - seems that you can only have the standard message tone on the iPhone?

I found there is a nest app which seemed to be an alternative to the Google home app but appears it doesn’t support newer camera models
 
If not, I think this is a major flaw in the purpose of these cameras - safety and security. 

any help would be appreciated

Google Nest provides just the standard notifications on our phones.

The Google Nest app works for older cameras and doorbells; the Google Home app works for newer cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021.

Thanks is there another device where you can have better notification options? Eg some of the newer nest hubs or an android device?

You can get "Visitor announcements" on your Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, and Nest speakers when a Google Nest doorbell is pressed (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538); we use this.  But you CANNOT get people or motion notifications for camera events on your Nest Hubs, Nest Minis, and Nest speakers, although customers in this forum have asked. I haven't heard of anything like this for other Android devices. I'm also not aware of any ability to get an enhanced notification (like "blasting an alarm") based on the time of day or night.

 

Thanks very much for the the response. Seems like a Google are missing a trick here! I will send some  feedback - can’t see it being an overly difficult feature to develop.
