Hi - can I change the Wi-Fi network for my google doorbell and camera when I am not there? I have 2 internet providers (one for backup) and one is not working so want to switch to the backup Wi-Fi. Thanks!

This isn't possible. You'd need a router with automatic failiver connected to your 2 ISPs and wifi APs running off the router so that the wifi never changes, only the path to the world

Just checking. Can I remove and add the new camera when I am not home?

Hey JillF,
Since your camera requires scanning its QR code or by entering its 6 digit entry key when updating its Wi-Fi network or adding it to the Nest app or Google Home app using a phone (iPhone or Android). You must be near the camera to do it or at least have someone you trust do it for you. Have a look at this guide: Set up and connect Nest camera.
Thanks,
JT

Hi - yeah - JT spelled it out nicely even tho i don't love the answer 🙂 Assume its an edge case for residential customers to have redundant ISPs. It would be great for people with second home to be able to toggle between the two from afar. I wonder if of there is cellular backup option or what they do for large commercial customers. Thanks!
