is there a way to access the doorbell without wifi. If I’m on the road and I get a notification on my phone, I cannot open it and look at who is at my front door when I’m on cell service. With Ring you can, but I haven’t found a way with nest. It seems I can only access it when I’m on any wifi connection.

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. Do y'all happen to have your cellular data enabled? Because that would allow you to view the footage, but generally there isn't an issue with viewing your cameras off your home wifi. I do it all the time with my cameras I have to monitor my home when I am working.
Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Brad.

I access my doorbell via cell network connection all the time. I'm using the Android version of the app, but I can't image that would make a difference. You might contact support. It definitely should work fine.

I've accessed our Nest doorbells and cameras via a cellular connection on my iPhone and it works, though, of course, it's slower than on WiFi at home.

I have the exact issue and I don't know how to fix it. We have 200Mbps WiFi and I can only access my Nest Camera video when I'm connected to WiFi, not cell service.

On your cell phone, do you have cellular data enabled for the Google Home app or the Google Nest app (depending on your camera)?
