Dropcam Pro – need to rehook up – flashing amber light :-(

On Nov 1, I stupidly responded to Google's persistent urging to migrate my Nest account and also change from my DropCam Pro (that was working on Nest app) to a Google Nest Cam Indoor Wired 2nd gen (that works on Home app). I had no idea they were removing features, one of which was the ONLY reason I need a camera (record dog barking, time and duration).

I need to reattach the DropCam Pro due to several things gone wrong in the migration, however there is only a flashing amber light. I have tried on my Mac (that used to let me set it up) and on an ASUS laptop running Windows 10. The closest I got connecting to my wifi (that hasn't changed in years) on the windows. It show a "Connection Error (C371)."

It was working perfectly on Nov 1 and 2 when this nightmare began. The chances of it having mechanically failed are slim to none.

I really, really need to reconnect. Especially if the Google support person who have been following my case can get them to roll back the migration and restore my old Nest subscription until Google discontinues DropCam Pro for good on April 8, 2024.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help.

Oh my gosh.  My DropCam Pro is back online and working thru Nest app!!!!
(Thanks to a thread I found here "Dropcam setup out of date.")
For those who wish to know, I set it up thru my Phone's Nest app. Since there is no QR code on these older cameras, you type in the serial number. Then the amber blinking light went solid blue and I can see...
YAY!

Wish me luck on keeping my subscript of the recording barking dogs thru April 8.
