@jonesduncan

Are you accessing the same Google Nest "home/structure" in both the Google Nest app and the Google Home app? The name of your Google Nest "home/structure" displays near the top of the initial screen in each app.

Hello @jonesduncan,

Thanks for your questions @MplsCustomer,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that your Google Home app and Nest app are not in sync and are showing you different numbers of cameras. I'm here to help you get this resolved.

This type of issue often happens when your Nest account and devices are in the process of being migrated or have not been fully integrated into the Google Home ecosystem.

To help us get a better idea of what might be causing the discrepancy, could you please answer a few questions?

  • Could you please confirm the specific model of all three cameras? (Please visit our Help Center to learn more about technical specs for Nest Cameras and Doorbells). This is important because some older models may not have full feature parity in the Google Home app.
  • Do you see a "Migrate to a Google Account" option in your Nest app? The "Nest app shows one" camera may be because your other cameras were set up under a Google Account, but the one you see in the Nest app is still under a legacy Nest Account that has not been migrated.
  • Are both the Google Home app and the Nest app updated to their latest versions from the app store?

The answers to these questions will help us determine if the issue is with your account migration status or with a device compatibility issue.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,

Kevin
