Google Home App not announcing door events

I had an Arlo camera before and there was an option that allowed the Google Home app to announce on all devices that there was a person at the door.  Now that I've switched to Google Nest camera, I don't have that feature.  I get notifications that pop up on my phone, but having my Google home devices telling me someone was there really helped.  Is there a way to get this feature back?

You can turn on "Visitor announcements":

Is this only with the Nest doorbell? I only have the Google camera at my door

Hi there,

I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, and I would love to look into this further for you. If you have a Nest Doorbell, it should announce visitors if you have that setting enabled. Thank you for your help here, @MplsCustomer.

Best regards,

Yes it will announce visitors that push the button.  A number of visitors just drop off a package and leave.  I get a push notification that a person/package is at the door, but there is no voice notification like there was with Arlo through the Google Home app.

I'm afraid that this isn't a current feature, but thank you for sharing your Feature Request with us. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate your feedback. You can send it at any time using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps found here. This thread will remain open for 24 hours for any follow-up questions or concerns.
