Wondering if there is any way to have Google Home (Nest Hub) announce when there is detected motion via a Nest doorbell. Our Nest Hub already announces when someone rings the doorbell, but seeing as the doorbell is audible, that feature isn’t very helpful. However, it would be very helpful if there was a way for the Nest Hub to announce when the Nest doorbell detects motion, as I’m not always on my phone and able to see a notification from the Google Home App. As far as I’ve looked, I haven’t found an option for this feature. If it does exist, where would I find it? And if it doesn’t, maybe consider implementing this if others agree?
Thank you,
Carson

Hi Carson10,
Thanks for posting here in the community. We appreciate your interest however, we don't have any news to share about applying this feature through the Nest app or Google Home app. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. I'd suggest you send feedback about your concern using this form to let the Google Engineering team know about your concern. While they won't respond directly back to you, this is the best way to let them know about this. Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns as I will be locking this after 24 hours. Feel free to start a new thread and we'll be happy to help.
Best,
Emerson

I recommend getting Ring and Alexa if you want audible motion detection announcements. I started replacing Nest with Ring/Alexa.
