Google Nest (Battery) Doorbell Mounting Potential Solution

FurionBlack

To give context, I read some recent-ish posts on mounting this stupid doorbell to the mount itself when its on the wall. The lack of clicking is a real problem. Often times before I found my stupid doorbell sitting on my front porch because the dumb system isn't secure and isn't thought out.

I loosened the two rear screws in the back of the doorbell itself, center-upper half,  just slightly and it mounted much more easily than before. I am not sure what they are for, but my with my unit, it was/is horrific to mount.  It seemed to mount pretty easily this time. I am crossing my fingers.

I am so overly frustrated with this doorbell that it is beyond belief and beyond return period. Get a better system and better troubleshooting Google, mention what the two screws are for and if it is for mounting, it should be apart of this community response thread by whomever is in charge of answering folks on here.

Can't wait to just hard wire this thing and forget it even exists.
