Google Nest Doorbell - Battery

when i got to connect the nest doorbell to google home  it doesn't connect.  I have reset the button on back of devices several times and restarted wifi on the phone.   when i plug the doorbell into power outlet it also doesnt chime.

Are you following the installation process shown here?

What exactly goes wrong during the install process? What status light(s) show on the doorbell?

When you performed a factory reset, did you get the results described here?

Whey you say "it doesn't chime," are you saying there is no sound at the doorbell itself?

If it's a brand-new doorbell, you might want to contact Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
