I followed the instructions on hooking up my Google nest doorbell battery and everything went fine until I went to mount it outside on the wall. It completely stopped working. I put on charger and no light. Did a reset and a factory reset and still no light or life. I want to know what exactly happened. Google support said it was the hardware or hard drive that was damaged. I find that odd.
