Google Nest Doorbell network connectivity

My Google Nest, battery powered doorbell has been working with my home network for several months. After the last charging it could no longer be seen on the Google Home app. I’ve tried multiple times to reconnect the device to my network unsuccessfully. Why can’t the network see the doorbell?

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I am sorry that you are having trouble trying to reconnect the Nest doorbell to your network, but no need to worry; help is here. We appreciate all of your previous troubleshooting efforts. I need to know a few things about your camera in order to provide you with a better resolution.

  • Are you getting any error messages?
  • How far is the camera from the router?
  • Do you have other Nest devices in the house?
  • Are there other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi where the camera is connected?
  • Can the camera find other Wi-Fi networks?
  • What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
