Google Nest Floodlight Wired Camera-Not pairing to Nest App

We purchased the Google Nest Floodlight Wired Camera to replace a nest camera that had died.  We had it installed by a professional yesterday and realized upon setup that it does not pair back to our existing Nest app with our Nest Guard and our other Nest Cameras.  This is a huge issue.  The Nest app is far superior in functionality and design than the Google Home App.  I'm not sure how many thread complaints this will take to remedy this massive issue.  We would not have purchased this had we realized this was the case, we would have just replaced the malfunctioned Nest camera with a new identical Nest camera.  I realize the desire to push all products into the Home app, however whoever designed that should really have asked the Nest designers to assist, it is horrible.  Now I need to search on how to change the zone functionality because it is not clear nor easy to locate, unlike the Nest app/website.  

 

Please fix this.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cam with Floodlight in the Nest App. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
