Google Nest doorbell camera

I am wondering how I can change the area that my Nest cam is able to record. I remember setting the area when I first got it, but cannot remember where to go on the app. Thank you!

Thanks for posting. I understand that you want to change the area of the activity zone on your Nest Doorbell. Don’t worry, I can help. Here you have the information to edit the activity zone depending on the app that you use to control your cameras:

Home app

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap favorites or devices.
3. Select the camera that you want to make an activity zone for.
4. Tap More > Settings > Events > Seen Events.
5. Update the zone with the changes that you want to make. The app saves your changes automatically.

Nest app

1. Select the camera with the Activity Zone that you want to edit.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Select Activity Zones.
4. Select the zone that you want to edit.
5. Change the zone any way you like. You can change its size, shape, color, and name, just like you would if you created a new activity zone.
6. Tap the tick to save. If you change your mind, in the top-left corner, tap Cancel.
