Google home thinks my 2 daughters are one person.

My doorbell thinks both my daughters are one person, there appears no way to set up the second name and  sort them out, only allows me to delete images and then it does it all over again, they are really not that similar!

This is a widespread problem with familiar face recognition. My doorbell camera is right only 50% of the time at this point. Just the other day my camera thought a delivery man was me even though we have different skin colors. I’m seriously considering just turning that feature off because it’s worthless.

Yes but unless you have a solution that’s something more than delete the wrong picture from the face library you can’t help us.

I was doing that for every incorrect notification I got from my doorbell, but after a couple weeks it became very clear that it’s just not worth it. If the developers aren’t aware by now how terrible the facial recognition software is then they must not be very good at their jobs. If anything giving feedback only made me see the problem was getting worse instead of better.
