Google nest cameras missing important features!

When are you guys going to add the ability to create a custom clip, or save video not created from an event!?

Many times now where someone is trying to break into my cars and house, I’m missing HUGE amounts of important video I cannot share with neighbors and police!

I’ve been waiting years for google to add these features to home!

PLEASE allow the new cameras to be supported by the nest app and website in the interim, if you’re not going to add the features to the google home app. I can’t wait any longer! I’m going to return them and buy older nest outdoor cams instead!

Google promised nine months ago they would update the The Google home app as you can see nothing has been done. Google is not interested in fixing this issue if they were we would not still be waiting . The only thing that they have really added to the Home App is wish you happy birthday and you can watch Tictok videos.  On top of that if you have an iPhone the last update over a month ago crippled the ability to watch recorded incidences

It just proves that Apple innovates, google follows and collects data.  It’s been two months since the last nest update, which broke the features that people pay for. It’s also been about 10 months since Google promised the home app would integrate with Nest app. Just shows Google is a follower and really doesn’t care about its own users.

I’m afraid I have to disagree with your reply, as I listed numerous workarounds, aside from the features which we’ve been told are coming or being worked on for years now.

As I have provided my feedback in the app, by email and to your various social media accounts, I would appreciate a more detailed and serious response.

However, I do not have anything further to discuss on the matter as what you are asking for, or requesting is not a possibility. You are able to believe that or not, but I cannot assist you further.
