Just purchased outdoor camera and have a Nest Aware subscription. Everything is upgraded to latest versions.
I can set up a zone on the camera and have set all notifications to on.
BUT it is not working. I don’t get any events in the Zone. I even forced events by walking into the zone. Still nothing.
I have rebooted everything.

Hello, I'm an end user like you. Hmmmmm, I'm not sure why it isn't working. Let's maybe start with this official link from Google Nest about setting up the zone and see if you can catch anything that isn't set correctly.
I have the Outdoor Camera (Battery) for a few years and it seems to be working fine for me.

Thanks. Yes I followed the instructions and it still doesn’t capture any events in the zone.

Hmmmmm, I'm out of ideas. Are you running it on battery only? Or are you giving it AC power thru an adapter. The reason I ask if you are battery only then my just as a test try using an extension cord and plugging it into power and see if it makes a different.
Since you is a user forum you will not hear form Google on this. You might try opening an official support ticket so that you can speak with an actual Google Tech person. Here is the link to get you started...
