Hey Google- Advance the Google Home App to allow custom video clips for cameras

Hey Google, when will you advance the Home App to allow custom video clips to be created from cameras, like in the Nest App???  This is a big drawback as a Nest Aware subscriber.   The cameras don't always capture an 'event' and therefore custom capability to create videos from 24/7 history would be a big win for customer usability.  You need to bring this back to be a leader in the home monitoring/automation market.

Currently, the ability to create custom video clips from your Nest camera footage is not available. However, we're always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving our products to meet your needs.

We have had a 2nd gen Google Nest Battery Camera for 3 years now--plugged in with the optional power cable--and it STILL does not have the ability to create custom video clips, a capability possessed by all of our older 1st gen Google Nest cameras and doorbells.

Not having the capability to create custom video clips is a huge disadvantage. This feedback has been provided over multiple years from many different customers.  Is there any planned development on this front?
