How to know who is turning off my camera.

The doorbell camera is turned off occasionally. All family in my household have access to my cameras. Is there any way to see who is turning off the camera?

Hi Shadow02,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're experiencing an issue where your doorbell camera is occasionally being turned off, and you're looking for a way to see which family member is doing it. I'd be glad to share the information you need.

While you can't see who turned off the camera, you can confirm it was turned off by checking the Activity tab in the Google Home app. A gap in the video history and an "offline" note will appear. The log records the action, but not the specific user account, which applies to all home members.

Knowing who turns the camera off would be a helpful feature. We're constantly working to improve, and your feedback is a huge part of that. If you could share your thoughts on our feedback form, it would be appreciated.

Please don't hesitate to post any further questions on this forum!

Sincerely,
Juan
