Legacy Nest account issues adding Nest Doorbell

I have had a Nest account since I purchased one of their smoke/CO detectors several years ago, along with their Nest cameras. I used my Gmail address to establish my Nest account several years ago. I've had other Google products (Google WiFi) that were registered via the Google Home (I think thats the name of that app today). 

When I view my Nest cameras, I view them in the Nest app. However, I don't see my Nest cameras in my Google Home app, even though I have granted Google Home access to the Nest cameras via Google's suggested integration. 

I recently purchased a Nest Doorbell (battery) and began installing it. To my surprise, I am unable to install and/or use this (huge) doorbell because of some issue with the Nest -> Google account migration. If this isn't resolved today, I am returning this doorbell.

I'm just another customer, but it sounds like you may need to contact Google Nest Support, starting with this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp?hl=en.

Your description sounds like you might have a Nest account that you registered to a gmail address years ago, but you never migrated your Nest account to Google, and so what you see in the Google Nest app and what you see in the Google Home app are two separate sets of devices.

On Google Nest Help's migration page, they said if you go to Settings in the Google Nest app and do NOT see the "Migrate to a Google Account", then your account HAS been migrated.

Regardless of whether your account has been migrated or not, I don't know how you address your current dilemma, which is why I'd suggest contacting Support.
