Neat cam with solar panel

Does anyone know if the solar panel will charge the camera if the camera is off?

Solar charger should charge as long as it's connected to doorbell and it's gets sun for at least 4 hrs a day probably 2.5 percent a day

I was talking specifically about the google nest camera with solar panel. Not the doorbell.

I would love to look into this further for you, but if the device is not powered on, the solar charger might not charge the device while it isn't powered on. I can understand this may be an inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
