I have two older nest cameras and a new generation ring nest camera at the front door. I also have a nest aware subscription so I can see all three cameras working properly. However, when I go to the HISTORY under my older nest cameras and the new nest doorbell , all I’m getting is a still shot of the history and I’m not able to make video play when I click on it. I read some thing about older generation cameras not being able to function on the home app, but rather only on the Nest app and I guess that makes sense for now however, in both apps, I am unable to see live video from History. Does anybody have any thoughts or ideas?

Without a Nest Aware subscription, you get snapshot photos for events that occurred in the last 3 hours for older cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Nest app, and event video history for events that occurred in the last 3 hours for newer cameras and doorbells installed in the Google Home app.
Your Nest Aware subscription should cover all older and newer cameras and doorbells in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Google Account. (1st gen Nest Aware subscriptions cover individual cameras and doorbells.)

In the Google Home app, we can see event video history for both our older and our newer cameras.
We can only see 24/7 video history for our older cameras in the Google Nest app and on the home.nest.com website. (We have a Nest Aware Plus subscription.)
You can check your subscription here:

It does not make sense to see just snapshots for both older and newer cameras, unless you have Wi-Fi or other issues. You can contact Support using the link and instructions in this post:
