Nest Cam with Floodlight Settings (light on vs. increased brightness upon motion detection)

So far I have not been able to find this nor I think there is a way to set this up via Google routines. I would like for the light to come on at 5:00pm and stay on until 6:00am, at 20% brightness. However, if motion is detected I would like the brightness to increase to 80-100%. Most floodlights do that, the one I just replaced was able to provide an ambient light at night, but would increase brightness once it detected motion. If for some reason this very simple function is not available, it would make this cam/floodlight gizmo pretty useless as a driveway light, with very basic functionality. Thank you for you help.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. I am afraid there is no such option at this time to set up routines in the Google Home app. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
Brad

The longer I play with the settings the more I dislike these lights. They are very basic and essentially it is basic cam with two flashlights. Not being able to have them on at night and change the brightness when motion is detected is a major flaw. Im hoping that at some point in time this functionality will be added.
