Nest Cam with Floodlight doesn’t work with Nest App

Just added our 6th Nest Camera (Floodlight model) to our home security suite. I brag on Nest cameras to everyone I know. What a fantastic product and the Nest App is the absolute BEST!!!
Please try to understand my dissatisfaction to learn now I have ONE out of SIX security cameras which DOESN’T show up in the wonderful Nest App.

For this one camera, I’m going to have to go to the Google Home App which is such a disappointment. Is there a way to have each cameras’ image displayed simultaneously in the Google Home App?  The Google Home App is a step BACKWARDS in functionality. Isn’t there a manager somewhere at Google who has seen the Nest App next to the Google Home App?

How can I set the Google Home App to display the cameras as well as the Nest App?

Hi,

All cameras will be visible in the Google Home app under the 'Cameras' button. Please have a look at the forum post linked below from the community manager.

Thanks for that!  Happy to see all cameras again.

is there a way to scroll through the entire history rather than only moments the camera noticed something?

@OneToFixIt

If the floodlight camera works the same as the Google Nest Camera (Battery) when it is plugged in all the time, you should be able to go to your camera in the Google Home app and click on "History" at the bottom of the screen. This should display a horizontal scrollable timeline below the video feed and below the "Full history" option. However, this timeline scrolls slowly--not at all like in the Google Nest app.

Hi again,

Have a look at the link below from 9to5 Google that explains how to scrub through your history.

thanks, I see the history on the Outdoor Floodlight Cam. However the other types of Nest Cams do not have the “history” button within the Google Home App.

Do I have to switch between Nest and Google Home to see history on all our Nest cams?
