I have 2 cameras and both have the same issue
When I charge my outdoor nest cam battery, it takes a very long time to charge to 100% and my app tells me that it is charging slowly and that I should use the supplied cable and charger for a fast charge. Even though I am using the supplied charger and cable! Is there a way to solve this for faster charging?
This is an issue with 2 of my cameras and the first time I called google help - they said my camera is out of warranty and cannot help. When I read similar posts the error is with the cable. So started chatting with google help again and they keep suggesting reset the camera and then wait 24 hours - absolutely the most useless helpdesk

I get this issue all the time with all my Nest Cam charging cables and it's very frustrating. It's a poor design I think. I can usually get it to charge at the proper speed if I clean the pins on both the cable and camera, try to reduce kinks in the cable, and push the cable into the camera socket hard to get as good a connection as possible on all pins, but it can take several tries.
