Nest Door Bell battery version

Hi, I just bought a Nest doorbell battery version, it makes a ring sound for the person who rings the doorbell, it makes a ring sound on my nest speaker in the house however it does not make a ring sound on my phone, so if I am away from the house I don’t know that someone is at the door, how can I fix this? I think i have tried almost everything in the settings, notifications are on, etc

We have three 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells and get a "ding-dong" ring sound (via the Google Nest app) on our iPhones when the doorbell button is pressed, unless I'm wearing my Apple Watch, in which case I get a generic notification tone on my watch. But judging from posts in this forum, it seems the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbells, which work only in the Google Home app, only produce a standard notification tone on phones when the doorbell button is pressed.

Thank you I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Unfortunately for me not getting an actual ding dong on the phone is a major draw back and kind of a basic feature I would have expected, I returned it to Google and am sticking with the Ring Doorbell, thanks again
