I have a Nest Doorbell Gen2 wired, Nest Doorbell Gen3 wired, and Nest Audio that will not connect to Google Nest Wifi Pro properly.
I have worked with Google customer senior network support and they have no idea.
I have ordered and connected a brand new Nest Doorbell Gen3 wired with brand new power transformer from Google store. I created a new Google Home and applied a new Google Home Premium Standard subscription to this home. The device fails during setup with a 99Y7 error - can't connect to wifi - check your input.
If I perform the Hotspot Trick, the device can complete setup, it records a 1 second clip and than goes into a funk state of failed recordings and going offline constantly never establishing a working state again.
I have a network of near 100 smart devices working fine along with many other nest products working fine.
Every trick in the book has been done that is documented and advised from Google Support. Bluetooth cache reset, powering down other nest gear, reboots, resets, app cache clearing, Everything including all new hardware.
The new Doorbell doesn't support Matter so I can't try setup to a different Ecosystem.
I don't know what to do except return the merchandise back to Google Store and start thinking about a different smart home security brand.

I have the same issues PaperTiger. I feel your pain. I have tried everything including all new hardware replacement. I can't get a Nest Doorbell Gen2 or Gen3 to connect and record properly.
