Nest battery doorbell WiFi won’t connect

Cannot get doorbell to connect to router in home app. Please advise

The only thing I can think of is make sure you are on the newest version of the Google Home app.  Go to the App store and see if there is an update available

Hey folks, 

 

Terribly sorry to hear that you are having connectivity issues with your Nest Hello Battery doorbell! I would try to restart your Doorbell, the wifi, and like mdr2 stated, check for app updates. Please let me know if that does the trick!

I am having the same issue. Setup Google Nest Hub no problem to my Google Mesh WiFi, but the doorbell will not connect when I try to add a devise. It has me first install through the Nest app, then prompts to scan QR code, which then has you go to Google Home App. From there I try to add the doorbell and it says I need to use the Nest app….and the cycle repeats.

It sounds like you have no migrated your account from Nest over to Google Home App. Before doing that though, I would factory reset the Doorbell a few times which tends to do the trick. Please let me know if that does the trick.
