“Something went wrong” every time it gets to the same point in set up. I had to disconnect it to connect to my new WiFi and now it won’t reconnect at all past this point. I’m having the same issue with my Nest outdoor camera.

To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, what is the light status of your Nest Doorbell and Nest Cam Outdoor? When connecting them to your new Wi-Fi network, it will require you to reset them to the factory default. Make sure they have a pulsing blue light indicating that they are ready to connect. Just a reminder, after the reset, all of the event history will be removed.
