Nest cam movement notifications

Hi, 

Have posted about this previously and have sent several feedback requests to google with no avail. 

Does anyone know or any works in pipeline to improve the alert notifications on the nest camera? In particular louder sounds or alerts especially in the middle on the night - want to be woken up if there is an intruder lurking around outside! The current notifications on the google home app on IOS just doesn't cut it at all.

I have the same complaint about the audio issue.  Everything was fine until a few weeks ago (now 10/16/2023) when Apple released IOS 17 and they (APPLE) changed the one sound that 3rd part apps were allowed to use for the alert sound.  The new sound is super low volume and does not get my attention either.   

I have complained to Apple about 3 weeks ago and nothing has changed.  Here is the article that talks about it.  I don't see this getting fixed anytime soon.   

I have thought about trying to go back to IOS 16 because of this one change but that is another headache.

This is an apple issue, not a google issue. And apparently this will be fixed in the next update out this week.

Thanks for the info.   I sure hope this is indeed fixed.   I was looking at a article about the next IOS update and I don't see this listed.

My issue is more related to the google home app not having the ability to have different sounding notifications that can be tailored to movement on cameras etc not sure this fix from Apple will do anything other than make it louder, yet it will still be indistinguishable from a text message
