Nest cam recording people event always 10sec?

I have came across this issue mentioned in the forum but seems that there is no satisfactory answers.

I just bought and installed an Nest cam outdoor. People triggered events are always ~10secs even though the settings for recording have been set much longer. 

I am not subscribed to Nest Aware, and would probably not if I'm only getting 10 sec clips.

Anyone managed to get longer recording for people event?

We've had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) for 16 months, plugged in with the optional power cable, and we regularly get People events longer than 10 seconds. We have a Nest Aware Plus subscription and have "Maximum event length" set for 3 minutes.

Hello, please can you tell me, is it possible to show 24/7 recordings with the nest cam outdoor connected with the power cable and a nest subscription?

Yes.  We have the Google Nest Camera (Battery) plugged in with the optional power cable, and a Nest Aware Plus subscription, and we get 24/7 recordings.

@Rambaitan thanks for posting here in the community. Under the video settings of your Nest Camera, you can select the maximum length for event video recordings. If possible, could you share with us the screenshot of your video settings?
