Nest camera (battery) won't turn on

I just bought a two pack and neither camera will turn on. I don't get any light or chime when plugged in to the outlet and I have tried with and without the magnetic base. I attempted to reset the ceras using the button on the back but nothing changes. Do I have duds or am I doing something wrong?

I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, and I would love to look into this further for you. Have you tried to just plug them in and let them charge for an hour and see if that has any changes? I would give that a try, and let me know what the outcome is.

Yes. I tried keeping both cameras plugged in for multiple hours but the lights never came on.

Do you have the USB charging cord plugged in securely, with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera (as it should)?

Are you sure that you have the charging adapter plugged in securely? Just as @MplsCustomer stated, it should be secured and it sounds like it may not be secured. Please let me know.
