Nest doorbell battery does not properly attach to the mount after recharging

The nest doorbell will not mount after I took it down for recharging. It can mount very loosely but will fall off if anyone touches it. Please advice.

@Kristjanpp

You could try contacting Support to see if you qualify for a warranty replacement. I've seen other posts regarding mounting problems with the battery doorbell.

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

Hey @Kristjanpp

That's frustrating to hear your doorbell isn't working right! Let's get this fixed.

To help me understand the issue better, could you tell me:

  • How you removed the doorbell from the wall?
  • If the button on the back of the doorbell is stuck?
  • When and where you purchased the device?

A picture can sometimes be worth a thousand words! If you're able to, could you also attach a photo of the back of your doorbell?

I'll be here to help you troubleshoot once I have this information.

Best regards,

Obed

Hello Obed.

I remove the doorbell by inserting a small metal piece under the doorbell.

There is a metallic button like thing on the backside it does not really move.

I bought it 16th of August last year from coolshop, com

I'm unable to insert photo. I attach a link from online to the same doorbell

Thanks, Kristjanpp, for the information provided. I'm sorry to hear your doorbell can't be attached to the mount.

It sounds like the button might be stuck.  I'd be happy to take a look into this for you by filling out this form for further assistance. Let me know once you're done.
