Nest doorbell no longer continously records video

I have the nest doorbell (wired). It used to record continous video but now it doesn't. Is there a setting I need to change? Does the software think it's battery powered for some reason? Is the doorbell old and no longer supports 24/7 video recording with google? Thanks.

Has your Nest Aware subscription expired?

You can also check your subscription under Settings | Nest Aware in the Google Nest app or Google Home app.

Nest aware is still active. Renews 3/25/2023. I have a history but I only see detected events. The history is dead between detected events.

A Nest Aware subscription provides only EVENT video history. A Nest Aware Plus subscription provides 24/7 video history:

How did I have 24/7 continuous video for 2 years and now I don't?

I'm just another Google Nest customer. I don't know what you have now or what you've had in the past. The link I provided describes what you get for a Nest Aware subscription, a Nest Aware Plus subscription, or a 1st Gen Nest Aware subscription.

Which subscription is shown on the Subscription Management page, or under Settings | Nest Aware?

My service hasn't changed since i bought the doorbell a few years ago. I should qualify for 10 day 24/7 video history and 30-day event history. What I feel happened is my doorbell unit was downgraded by google and no longer qualifies for 24/7 continous video which is bs since that's why I purchased a wired doorbell in the first place.

We have 3 Google Nest Hello Doorbells, with the first installed in early 2019. There has been no downgrade of Nest Hello doorbells, or of cameras.

What you get depends on your subscription. We started with the 1st Gen Nest Aware subscription, but switched to the Nest Aware Plus subscription a couple of years ago because, with several doorbells and cameras, it was cheaper than the per-camera 1st Gen Nest Aware subscription.

You didn't indicate what subscription level you have. If you were getting 10 day 24/7 video history and 30-day event history, that doesn't quite match any of the three subscription levels shown here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9681538?hl=en
