I have disconnected the nest doorbell and waited over 20 minutes, and nothing happened after reconnecting it, also did the factory reset and no change,
there is no light, its not responding.
what should I do next.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. When did it start happening? Has there been any recent power outage in the area? Has it been exposed to direct sunlight? Is the doorbell paired to a Nest account? Also, could you check if the wires are securely and properly connected?

No recent power outages, and yes the sun hits it as its going down late in the day,
I have had this unit for a very long time.
Some one from customer services let me know that I was out of warranty, and after troubleshooting it in every possible way I opened the unit and discovered a very bloated battery, so I believe this to be the cause for the failure, I tried to find a replacement, but I had no luck.
