I have two nest cam IQ outdoor installed. One of my cameras gone offline, when checked, a red circle was flashing. Checked the probable fault issue described in nest.com, it says "Insufficient power. Your camera is plugged in but there's not enough power for it to work correctly. Try a power socket with more power. Don't plug your camera into an external battery pack". I swapped this red flashing camera with another working one with the existing power supply of faulty one. This time my swapped camera worked perfectly. I had to contact googlenest-support, one of the customer case team asked me to do a factory reset. I resetted a couple of times while on phone, there was no improvement. I told there was no fault with power supply as another camera worked well. The lady said she will update this issue to a socialist. The next day I received an email saying the device is out of warranty. My question is why they have posted incorrect description of insufficient power supply in their website. My question is why google is declining to give the correct reason for this red blinking circle .

Hi Badri,
I’m sorry for the confusion here. There are some factors affecting your camera to get a red blinking light which can be a faulty power cable, the camera itself or not getting enough power from the power outlet. To further investigate this — could you fill out this form and let me know once you’re done?
Thanks,
JT
