Hello Ctylr,

Thank you for taking an interest in our community. I’m sorry to hear your Nest Doorbell (battery) is not working as you expected because it is not charging properly. No worries; I’m here to help.

It's good to hear from you that you've already taken action on the matter. To provide you with further assistance, please help me out by answering the following questions:

  • When does the trouble first occur?

  • When you charged the Nest Doorbell, did you charge it with a hardwired or USB cable?

  • Is the official charger cable that came with the Nest Doorbell?

  • Have you tried to use different wall outlets?

In the meantime, I can suggest these tips.

  • Check the power source and cable: Ensure you're using the original power adapter and cable that came with the device.

  • Check for physical damage: Inspect the cable for any damage, such as cuts or fraying.

  • Charge the battery: To charge this device, here are some recommendations; for more detailed information, please refer to this article: Battery charge time.

I'll look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Daniel
