Nest lost all devices

Ursulaod
Community Member

Minus to count, lost all of my devices, and now my doorbell appears to be off-line or no longer connected to the account. I can’t see any of the history or alerts that used to be there. it wants me to add a new device.

The thermostat also seems to be gone as well as the fire alarms. You pay a lot of money for this sweet of products and you expect them to work in an emergency situation because that’s why you buy them. A.k.a. they should be reliable and not have so many issues.

@Ursulaod

Are you logging onto the Google Home app (or Google Nest app) with the same Google Account you were previously using to access your doorbell, thermostat, and fire alarms?

Do you by any chance have more than one Google Nest "home/structure" set up, with your doorbell, thermostat, and fire alarms in a different Google Nest "home/structure"? If so, see this Help topic: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9155535.

Hello everyone,

@Ursulaod, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Aside from what MplsCustomer is asking, do you have a Nest Aware subscription? Do you have a home member who has access to your Nest devices? Looking forward to your response.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Best,

Emerson
