New router: Nest Outdoor camera is not able to connect

Recently I got a new router to improve the quality of my Internet traffic. Since that moment there is no visual contact with my cam. The light of the cam is blue and blinking (according to info the camera is constantly restarting). Wifi connection is good throughout the house. I hope ther is somebody out there to help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

Hi @gertkapsalon,

Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Cam Outdoor is not connecting to your new Wi-Fi network. I'm happy to help.

Please provide the information requested below to better understand the reason for this inconvenience:

  • Did you set up your Nest Cam Outdoor device in the Nest app or Google Home app the first time?
  • When and from where was the device purchased?
  • How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
  • How far is the device from the router?
  • Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?

Additionally, since you mentioned having a new router, please ensure you've removed your Nest Cam Outdoor from the Nest app or the Google Home app before adding it back.

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Regards,

Anders
