Night vision on doorbell battery

Sheila3

I was wondering if you could set the light from camera of doorbell lower?

why I ask this question is bc I live in a condo complex and I think when at night and camera starts to record people are feeling weird when they see the green and red lights at night when recording.

I was wondering if there is a lower setting for how bright the light can be?

thank you

@Sheila3

Under Settings | Video, there is a Status light brightness option (at least there is on our battery camera), and you could set this to "Low".

There is no setting for the brightness of the infrared light for night vision.

Thank you for answering. Yes I knew about the setting of the status light.And I do have it set to low. Although I didn’t know there was no setting for the infrared light

I had the same problem and decided to put black electrical tape over the light. Works like a charm

Thanks. I didn’t think of that. I’ll have to think about that and let you know if I use it. I wouldn’t care as much that the condo assoc is a pain. Going to place to place to check if anything is out of the ordinary. One of the things you can’t do is have anything on the brick. More and more people are going for these doorbell cameras. I had someone try to get in. And I think it was mistaken condo. Because everything is the same. I noticed when people pass they keep staring at that light. Usually sunrise and at night
