Offline issue

Hi all

We have a batter doorbell annd anlso an wifi extender that have both gone offline. The doorbell is fully charged and the extender is plugged into power fine.  Any ideas??

Ive also got an issue with the doorbell when people ring it I just can’t get video. It is quicker for me to walk out to the gate!  Any ideas?

Hi @SBandick 

It is hard to determine what your issue is but a WiFi range extender can cause some stability issues.

Or do you use an mesh network? 

If you take the bell off the wall and test it more closely to your modem/router to see if functions properly without the wifi extender. ☺️

Thanks for your response. I use a mesh network as far as I’m aware. I have a nest router and a nest point. I’ve tested the mesh and it’s working fine. 
 
It’s all been working fine for 12 months but getting issues now. 
 
I’ll take the bell off tomorrow it’s a bit of a way out the front to do tonight.

Thanks for the checking. 

If it still does not work correctly we can check the doorbell with a reset of such. 🙂

All sorted. 🙂 I pulled the power out of the wifi extender and plugged back in. All is online now. 

just need to sort the cam mounting issue now (different thread)

This will always be an issue you will find this happens and keeps happening for no rhyme or reason.
