Hello,
This is a common issue with a lot of google nest cam users.
I have many of the old Google Nest cams mixed with newer battery model.
In order to use all of them in the same app I am using the Google Home app (IPhone and Ipad) as the Nest app doesn’t support newer cameras.
The issue is in Google Home app you can’t get notifications from older cameras, just see the video historial.
I need to know when Google will add this feature in the home app.
Thanks

Customers keep asking, but Google Nest does not seem to share any of its schedules for new features.
We've been using both the Google Nest app AND the Google Home app since we added a battery camera two and a half years ago. We're continuing to use the Google Nest app not just for notifications but because the Google Home app still lacks MANY Nest app functions (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/13038234#zippy=%2Cnest-app-only-features), and the home.google.com website only livestreams, unlike the home.nest.com website, which also provides history and access to settings.

Hello,
Thanks for your answer, as I know Nest App will be not supported after April 4th.
What we go to do then?
I think Google is a mess with the security department last years.
Thanks

Sigh. Support for the Google Nest app is NOT ending on April 4. Rather, on April 8, 2024 Google Nest is dropping support for Dropcams and for the Nest Secure alarm system:
So, as I said, we are CONTINUING to use the Google Nest app.
