Replacement parts for google doorbell (battery) non-existent

I have been given the run around by google support. I opened a request stating that I cannot find the thin metal piece that secures the battery doorbell to the mounting bracket ANYWHERE online. I had 2 conversations with a regular support specialist and then a manager specialist about trying to find a replacement part for this, and they both told me, "This part isn't offered. We suggest you search other retailers." Then, after explaining to both of them that I OPENED this request because I already knew that, they made me wait 2 days to "communicate with an another team" only to give me the EXACT SAME RESPONSE as they did in the online chats.

I bought my doorbell 2 years ago, and the new mounting brackets look to be a completely different design. The only thing I've found online is someone who has a 3-D printer and offering a bulky, plastic, and homemade piece that doesn't look to be compatible with the mount I have installed on my door frame. This is such shady business to me that the critical piece that secures the camera to the actual mount is discontinued/not-offered/re-designed with no backwards compatibility. I'm not asking for a warranty replacement or anything, but my doorbell is now basically useless unless I engineer and manufacture that piece myself. Sure, I can stick it on somehow, but that's just asking someone to come up and yank it off.

The context for why it's missing is we had some work done on the siding of our house and the construction crew threw it out amongst some other construction trash. Completely out of my control as I didn't know they were removing the camera until after it happened.

I would understand if I was trying to track down some piece designed in the 1940's that has since been modernized, but it's from 2 years ago. Does anyone have a solution?

Google support seems to lack some understanding that their suggestion to "search other retailers" is absurd. I opened the ticket because I had already done that. Additionally, how would a retailer that is unrelated to google have a part this specific to google products and their engineering? It makes no sense.
