Moderator edit: Subject updated for clarity and findability.
I recently noticed that my Nest Doorbell (Battery) doesn’t appear to be capturing events like it used to. Prior to 11/21/23, my doorbell was capturing events like normal - I have it set up for a specific area and usually have about 20 events per day given how my community is set up. Starting on 11/21/23, the only event that is being recorded is if the doorbell is pressed. On that particular day, I should have had multiple events because of some activity right outside my home.
I have an active Nest Aware subscription and it’s clear that it’s still saving past the 3 hour mark because the doorbell event on 11/21 is still there. I have my event settings to alert for people or packages as well which I’ve just double checked. How can I fix this?

Replying to my own post because I was able to fix this. I ended up looking up how to restart my doorbell and tried it (pushing the reset button right under the USB-C slot on the back for 5 seconds) and now my events are back to normal.
