Video feed on my outdoor nest camera

Is there a way to record continuous feed from my outdoor camera?  Right now it only “saves” when a car comes up my driveway.  My neighbor across the street was broken into and I wasn’t able to see any video feed from around the time it happened.

@TFletch

You need a Nest Aware Plus subscription to record 24/7; it saves continuous recordings for the last 10 days and events for the last 60 days. And if you have the new Google Nest Camera (Battery)--as we do--you have to have it plugged in all the time with the optional power cable. (The older Google Nest Outdoor Cameras have no battery and must be plugged in, and are capable of continuous recording with a subscription.)

yes.  you need Aware and the power cord.   What really sucks is that the new battery cams, which I just installed 2 of, dont feed in the NEST app.  and the Google Home App wont send email notifications like the Nest app does.  This REALLY SUCKS because my wifi at work won't allow me to access Nest or Google Home so I depend on the email notifications.  If I get broken into and I don't get a notification cause Google can't get their crap together, then they will have a world of lawsuit hurn on their hands.

Hi folks,

I appreciate the help. Continuous 24/7 video history is only available for wired Google Nest cameras and Nest Doorbell (wired). As a reference you can also check this article on What you get with a Nest Aware subscription.

Steve
