Wired or Battery Nest Doorbell

I want to use a power adapter and plug in my Nest doorbell. Which doorbell do I purchase, wired or battery?

If you live in a cold weather climate, note that the battery doorbell always runs off of the battery (even when wired), trickle-charges the battery when wired, and cannot charge the battery at temperatures below freezing:
