google camera not reconnecting, can't be reset

recently one of my google camera (outdoor battery) stopped connecting to my wifi. so i disconnected from my account to reset up again, which has worked in the past. but now, when i go through the set up process. the camera doesn't turn white it's plugged in during the setup, when i press and hold the reset button in the back, it doesn't turn yellow after 10 seconds. so i am unsure why it's not working. I have had to get rid of my doorbell camera but it stopped working. Google is becoming very unreliable with their products

Hello, I'm an end user like you.  If you read thru this forum you will see other people describing the same issue.  I believe either the power supply has failed or the camera it self.  About how old is it?   I have 5 of these and (2) have failed around the 3 or 4  year mark.   I like the NEST app and I ended up ordering used cameras from Ebay sellers and I'm very happy.   Also, until the Google Home app has most of the features of the Nest app I would not recommend the new Gen 2 nest cameras as they do not work with the NEST app.   Hopefully the Google App will be improved soon.

Yea super frustrating 😕 have the second Gen one the battery version. Yea doesn't work with the nest app anymore. I guess this one is going to bite the dust. I don't know why the camera seem to work with the green light on. Since I disconnected the device from the app, I can't see anything...not sure what else is there to do 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have the exact same problem. The camera is only a year old. I am getting it replaced. Not a good look for Google.
