migrating old nest camera to google

Migration to Google Nest.  I keep receiving the message that the cameras are setup with another owner.  I was set with Nest, I received notification I need to migrate Google by 09/29/23.

I have no idea how you could get a message during migration saying the cameras are set up with another owner.  Are you possibly trying to log onto the Google Nest app with a different account than the one you used to set up the cameras?

Why do you think you need to migrate to a Google Account by Sept. 29? The only thing I know of that's changing on Sept. 29 is that Google Nest is discontinuing support for "Works with Nest", a feature that lets smart home devices from other manufacturers work with Google Nest devices.  What do I need to do to retrieve notifications from my camera on my cell phone, I'm receiving a message Works with Nest no longer supported.  What steps do I need to take.

I don't know why you're receiving a message indicating "Works with Nest" is no longer supported unless you've been using the "Works with Nest" capability to let smart home devices from other manufacturers work with Google Nest devices.  See the link I provided earlier.

@oharris2012, how's it going? To know more about this issue, we'd like to confirm, do you have third party devices that you linked with your Nest account? Were you able to migrate your Nest account to Google? What app are you using to get notifications from your Nest Camera? Have you tried check the notifications settings from your app and check if it's enabled? Looking forward to your response.
