i need the QR or 6 digit code to re-install my doorbell, after i got the info, some how i messed up putting the doorbell

back on base plate,,only the top half is attached to plate, the bottom half is not seated in the retaining mechanism,

tried to release with key tool without sucess, please tell me how to release the doorbell from the base, and seated it\

correctly ? thanks

Maybe the first video in the Help topic below, starting at about 3:20, will help you; it shows how the battery doorbell is mounted and dismounted. Beyond that, I don't think there's any trick that will help you in your situation.

after many hours of fooling around, found a slot similar to the one on bottom of DB, it was not mentioned in the doc, push with key that came with the unit, not feeling any spring action, but the top half of the DB releases, after a few more trials, got the DB installed on the base plate, hope this info might help someone like me on a bad day.
